Buyers Products SaltDogg PRO3000CH Electric Hopper Spreader with Conveyor Chain gives contractors and property managers a powerful, durable spreader that works with dump trucks and flatbeds with a minimum 13,000 GVW (gross vehicle weight). The 3 cubic yard spreader handles bulk salt, sand, or a 50/50 salt/sand mix. Its electric-powered design means quieter operation with no need for refueling or engine servicing, giving you more time on the road.
The double-wall, lighter weight, all-poly hopper construction won't rust or dent; a simple cleaning makes it look like new. The all steel 12 in. pintle chain conveyor, driven by a 3/4 HP, 12V gear motor, feeds material at a smooth, steady pace. The inverted V eases start up and helps keep material flowing. A 14 in. polymer spinner, powered by an independent 1/2 HP, 12V motor, casts material in a 5-30 ft radius.
The PRO3000CH features a two-position adjustable chute with 12 in. variable height to suit a variety of truck bed heights. The high-flow, removable chute detaches completely from the hopper for easy bulk unloading and vertical hopper storage. Intuitive in-cab controls let you independently manage conveyor and spinner speeds. The spreader also comes standard with a steel top screen.
