Bumper Shackle Adapters

Many Jeeps, trucks and SUVs have upgraded or aftermarket bumpers with shackles (or 'D' tabs) and D-rings. Instead of installing a baseplate, you can pin your tow bar directly to your bumper shackles. These kits will adapt Roadmaster motorhome-mounted tow bars (will not work with Stowmaster or Tracker tow bars). Simple installation as the adapters replace the ends of your existing tow bar arms.

The 035 fits shackles that are ¾" thick.

The 035-1 fits shackles that are 1" thick.
The 035-G2 fits elongated shackles that are 1" thick such as Smittybilt Gen2 bumpers.

Important! Before using these adapters, confirm that the bumper manufacturer has approved it for flat towing. Not all bumpers will withstand the rigors of flat towing.
