It’s an adapter as well as a drop hitch. These adapters insert into a 2½" receiver, but accept a 2" insert. This is an easy way to get your towing system level while also adapting from a 2½" receiver to a 2" hitch or accessory. Great for tow bars, bike carriers, or any towing system that doesn't exceed the Hi-Low's capacity.

Towing level is a major factor in the safety of your towing system. The more out of level, the more wander, tail wag and 'white knuckled' towing. These Hi-Low Hitches fit most standard 2½" receiver hitches. They can be inserted up or down to either increase or decrease the towing height. These drop hitches have a SOLID steel stinger and carry a 10,000-pound GVWR and a 400-pound maximum tongue weight. Not for use on trailers that exceed the 400-pound tongue weight capacity. Durable powder coated finish. Made in the USA.
