Need a bit more reach for your hitch receiver? The 071 provides an extra 12" of extension. This is usually needed because the receiver is tucked too far under the vehicle or because there are obstructions or other accessories that need additional clearance.  Bike racks commonly require a hitch extension as it moves the bikes away from the vehicle, preventing interference.
