The Auxiliary Wiring Kit is a great option. Although this lighting kit can be used on any towed vehicle, it was designed as a wiring solution for vehicles where traditional wiring diodes will not work.
The kit includes a separate wiring harness that routes from the front to the rear of the vehicle. A built-in “Y” allows the harness to reach both sides of the vehicle. Adhesive backing (the same used at the OEM level to affix badges and logos) allows the installer to place the light strips at a convenient location.
The 157 taillight wiring kit is an effective way to add the necessary lighting when towing. The LED strips can be removed if necessary. The kit includes flip latch wiring connectors for easy installation.
