Buyers Products TGS03 Spreader Extender is necessary to install the TGS03 Tailgate Spreader on ALL 2018+ pick-ups. It gives more space between the truck and the spreader to accommodate the newer spoiler-style tailgates.

The extender is easy to install. It attaches to the spreader using the spreader's pre-existing hardware and does not require any modification to the vehicle it's being installed on.
